Executive Producers: Battlecry
A network of entertainers seeking alliances with established partners who believe in our talent as much as we do. We have all been creating and/or performing for most or all of our lives in a number of mediums, this is our debut short film crew. If we are proud of what we can make out of absolutely nothing, imagine what we could do with additional resources.
Director & Cinematographer: Neil de la Peña
Our chief creative officer who likely gave more of himself (and his beautiful HD camera) to this project than any other throughout his seasoned career. We’re not sure if we can ever thank him enough for his passionate zeal and everything else he gave to hold this production together and guide it as a staying force. There was no greater honor than opening the credits boldly stating that this is his film.
Associate Producer
& Assistant Director: Adiel Adra of Island Gal Productions
Commutes from San Diego regularly to refine every set we work on with a remarkable touch of class and Bahamian charm and beauty. Wise beyond her years and experience, getting all the ducks in a row on a path to become a truly influential female filmmaker. Make no mistake, there probably isn’t much onset that she can’t do to make it work…she trained herself to be a fierce makeup artist too!
Production & Post Sound/Special Appearance: Jon Gerdemann
Provides the professional standard by which we can only judge ourselves. After 2 sound guys with all of the equipment we needed dropped out the week of the shoot – it was cancel – or use food/gas money on sound. Well, the rental house didn’t trust us taking their state-of-the-art equipment until I mentioned Jon would be operating it. As if that weren’t enough, he also boomed in his socks so that one of our principal actors had shoes to wear in his shot.
Editor & Graphics: Jessicah Pratt
In six syllables: “a miracle-worker” who sludged with us thru the trenches and in the clutch to prove what female filmmakers are capable of when we have to make lemonade out of the lemons that men sometimes leave us with.
Title Graphic Design: Christopher E. Smith
A stranger, a man of professionalism, integrity, and craftsmanship who can do more telecommuting from Pennsylvania than an entire in-house design team. If only we could afford to fly him in cross-country for the premiere!
Logo Graphic Design: Jessica Vance
A stranger who so kindly contributed art to the poor and needy.
Location Manager: D. Miguel Guerrero
That boom-diggy. We thought we would have to circle around locally pretending we were on a roadtrip until our good friend Miguel gave us a place in San Francisco to shoot and crash.
Consulting Editor: Albert Cantu
Supports our Director/Cinematographer in ways no one else could.
PA/Special Appearance: Rafael Gamboa
Film school graduation has clearly taught him the definition of filmmaker on-camera and off.
Voiceover: William A. Robertson
A capable actor/voiceover artist who believes in friendship and work ethic and delivers every chance he gets.
Special Appearance: Peter Greenwood
A master of every entertainment field he ventures into, most noted for us, his voiceover work. A random intersection that turned out to equal destiny.
Special Appearance: Victor E. Miller Jr.
The biggest fan our two leading men could have. Cover Boys for life.
Special Appearance: Jessica Holman
Might not think her presence was a big deal, but on a production night from hell – even the small helpful things a person does, count!
